The microscopic world (both natural and man-made objects) is beautiful- full of wonderful colors, patterns, and shapes. Kids readily appreciate this beauty and enjoy take pictures of the interesting and beautiful specimens that they observe. These images can be imported in iPhoto or other image display program.

This year, our school may make a calendar with our digital microscopy images. This is not an original idea- two of the top microscope makers (Nikon and Olympus) solicit interesting microscope images as a competition and make annual calendars.
